As you know we recently launched the Bango Button ( see this thread on our Forum for more information and discussion). Yesterday some great improvements went live which will make using the Button even easier.
The final step of the Button sign-up wizard now has single-click links to publish your button into 18 of the most popular community sites, including Facebook, Digg, Deli.cio.us, StumbleUpon, Reddit, Twitter, Backflip etc. The raw HTML code or hyperlink for the button are still shown, so you can add to MySpace or your own web site. There are more button styles available now too. Some without the “Get on my mobile” text, if space is at a premium on your site. And more colours too.The window shown to a web user clicking your button is also now improved, adding several new features:
Tell a Friend – easy button sharing via email
Share – single-click “add my button to Facebook/Digg/Reddit etc”
Help – simple step-by-step help
The button also now shows a QR-Code on-screen. A QR-Code is a 2D barcode which a phone with a QR-Code reader installed (Nokia ship some new handsets with one pre-installed) can scan with their camera, and their browser will open and go straight to your content. As more people clicking on your button use the Share option to share your button into their Facebook etc, the audience for your button expands rapidly.
Let us know what you think to the changes over on the Forum.
And don’t forget to join us for our free webinar on the Bango Button tomorrow.
