Payforit marketing opt-in flexibility

Marketing to users through the mobile phone is becoming an increasingly regulated aspect of the business. It is important that you are aware of the issues, because non-compliance can in extreme cases lead to service denial. Many of your customers will be interested in offers and updates, so Bango provides a standardized opt-in user flow and an API that allows you to determine the opt-in status of your customers. 

The payment flow allows for an additional post-payment page to be displayed to the user, just before sending them to the content that they’ve paid for, inviting them to opt into marketing messages for your service. Bango allows you to control this page through your Management Tools.

 You can choose one of three options:

The opt-in page is never displayed to the user The opt-in page is displayed once to the user, at any time, at your discretion

The opt-in page is always displayed to the user

You also have the flexibility of using a Bango Relay parameter to dynamically override the setting in the Management Tools.
