Updated guidelines and best practices have been issued by WMC Australia who regulate Optus and Telstra. These regulations came into effect at the beginning of January and outline both advertising and marketing messaging as well as message flows for users when interacting with the service.
Audits by both Optus and Telstra are held on a regular basis and you will receive an enforcement notice if they find infringements on your site. If you do receive an enforcement notice, you are required to respond within 24 hours to avoid any fines.
