AT&T Refund Policy and Penalties Reminder

As previously communicated, effective with the January 2011 Refund Report, any campaign with a refund rate of 20% or greater (through December 2010 report that threshold has been 25%) will be suspended:

  • 1st offense for high refund rates is 30day suspension
  • 2nd offense is 60day suspension
  • 3rd offense the shortcode will be deprovisioned from the AT&T network completely

AT&T is working on decreasing the amount of refunds to reach 15% threshold by end of 3rd quarter 2011.
